miss anything?

Brent Finnegan -- January 3rd, 2007

I’m back. Did I miss anything while I was gone?

I see that Craigslist is getting more traffic (or was that just all the bored, lonely people in town over the holidays?)… Also that the Rockingham Drive bike trail between Dogwood and Chicago is almost done. I’m looking forward to checking out these paths as the Public Works Department completes them (this being one of ten related projects). Slowly, Harrisonburg is becoming a more bike-friendly town.

One more tidbit of news while I was out: I read that the Minutemen are planning a trip to Harrisonburg in February. Don’t really know what they have in mind, but I’m guessing the Hispanic Services Council is keeping a close eye on these guys. Will their visit turn into another rally on the square?
