1727 dies a second and final death

Brent Finnegan -- February 16th, 2007

Matt Lohr’s so-called “school club billdied in a House committee, was resurrected, passed the House, and died again in a Senate committee yesterday.

It’s debatable whether his HB1727 and HB1656 can be called “anti-gay” or “anti-immigration” outright, but they’re certainly not “diversity friendly” bills. Lohr’s bill to charge immigrants for the use of court interpreters died last week.
