RockDem posted a letter from Sam Nickels of New Bridges today, inviting citizens of H’burg to attend the meeting at the Ramada Inn Friday at 7, adding the caveat that the Minutemen will be checking names and IDs at the door.

A few weeks ago, TM informed us Mainstreet Bar & Grill abruptly shut down, due to issues with ABC and “public safety” (according to their blog). According to a blog post today, “[Stone] was told yesterday that the building has a buyer.” No word as to who it is yet.

The DNR reports that JMU professors Wood and Kreutzer are presenting the county BoS with a report on county growth tonight. Yesterday it was Obenshain, today it’s Matt Lohr’s city annexation moratorium extension bill. Kaine vetoed it. Sounds like RoCo BoS member Bill Kyger isn’t too happy about it, either.
