walking the Valley

Brent Finnegan -- May 3rd, 2007

Remember when I posted something about this guy, Jonathan White? According to his blog, he’ll be in Harrisonburg today on his Walk the Valley campaign. He’ll be walking the route that Stonewall’s Brigade took during the Valley campaign, in an attempt to try to draw attention to battlefield preservation issues.

The local battlefield issue was (and still is) JMU’s plan to turn the Ashby battlefield into athletic fields.
