When: Tuesday June, 12th 5:30 pm until about 8:00 pm

  6. Remind me to call Dave’s, Emmy. Hoping they will reserve some space for us. Maybe I can talk him into giving me a break on some food for everyone.

Thanks Finnegan, I’m bad at posting on here. I have a post written up, but I can’t tell if its going to link to the rest of it, or post the whole thing on one page so I haven’t put it up yet.

  9. I prefer Pepsi, on ice, neither shaken or stirred. I’ll be there!

  10. We went to Dave’s for dinner tonight. FYI when you are on the roof the adult beverages (beers) only come in 24oz. but the cost is only 2.50…You might want to bring a jacket or a sweater because it is a little breezy up there. They said they don’t take reservations but, if someone is there around 5:30 they could keep an area open for us. See you there.

  11. Thanks for checking on that Benny. Ok…I’m feeling pretty bad that I’m going to have my once a month beer here. 24 oz might be a little too much for me…I might have to stick to Pepsi too! ( Light weight)

I will be there if I can get off work!

I was just there today for lunch with my boss. I have to say, the service was terrible :-/

  13. David Troyer,
I’m sure we will get good service Tuesday night or we will throw them over the top…Just kidding, we have always
    had decent service.

  14. Christa,
Are you going to bring a camera for the party? A group picture would be nice…Hey! you could take a picture of Dave
and me” nose to nose “like two boxers getting ready for the
championship fight, and put it on one of the blogs, that would get the town talking.

  15. I was planning to bring my camera, yes. It’s pretty much a permanent appendage on my body anymore. I hope we get more RSVP’s. Want people to know that even though you don’t comment on here…you can still come! Just show up!!

    Ditto zen,
I haven’t mentioned it to the wife yet but she’s pretty good about letting me come out and play. So as long we are sans baby number 2 I’ll be there.

I’ll be there, but I doubt Alan can make it. He’s travelling back from a clogging and aromatherapy seminar held in Branson, MO.

I think reaganite and morning bird may stop by but wearing mask and cape to protect their secret identities. “holy blogosphere, reaganite, nobody here drinks liquor! you mean to tell me they’re sober when they post that stuff??!!”

  26. finnegan says:

hahaha! Perhaps we should make it a masquerade ball.

  30. Reaganite says:

I would estimate the following: Reaganite sober posts – 80%; Cook sober posts – 75%; Morning Bird sober posts – 5% (or less); Dave sober posts – 100% (I fear).

  39. It’s primary election night, so the Sayre bloggers have other plans. Though I do not often post, I read the blogs everyday, so I will most definitely plan to come meet those of you I don’t already know. No drinking for me. I have to drive back to Staunton.

  46. Christa,
Let’s try and give this a name…we could do this annually
or a few times a year. Here is a few I came up with:
    The Gitchell Bash
    Friend’s Party Night
Four Seasons Party(have one four times a year-spring,summer,fall & winter)
Let’s see what others mifgt come up with.

  47. It was just an idea….you guys want to take off on it..that’s great. I just thought it would be fun to do it one time.

  48. Barnabas says:

It already has a name, Tuesday. Or we could each name it what we think it is. I’ll call it Daves Roof Invite to Network in a Kasual Invironment Night by Gitchell, or D.R.I.N.K.I.N.G.
