New Local Arts Calendar with RSS

Kai -- July 12th, 2007

I hate to be self-promotional, but this development relates to a frequent need expressed by hburgnews readers and others for a centralized arts and culture calendar. The Arts Council of the Valley has developed a new arts and culture calendar that seeks to integrate the many event listings in the area into one spot. We have paid and volunteer staff maintaining it and aim for it to become a premiere arts calendar for the area.

And, for you bloggers and RSS-types, there are now feeds available for you to integrate this calendar into your websites.

Thanks for the Art Council’s initiative on this. I plan to work/help the Arts Council, as well as other local organizations to see if I can’t create a calendar aggregator for the area.

    Good work.
