BRCC Hunger Symposium

JGFitzgerald -- October 13th, 2007

Blue Ridge Community College will host the Virginia Hunger Symposium Oct. 22-25. The symposium’s stated goal is to examine the root causes of hunger in society, and raise the awareness of all that can be done, both locally and nationally, to alleviate the problem of hunger. All proceeds and donations received at the events throughout the week will benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Network. If you would like a schedule of events, or to purchase Jen Chapin Trio benefit concert tickets, please contact Dr. John Downey at BRCC. More information can be found here.
