Commissioner of Revenue

As reported on republitarian yesterday, and in the DNR today, Rockingham County’s Commissioner of Revenue, Richard Connellee, died of a heart attack this weekend. Connellee was running for re-election, against challenger Esther Nizer.

Among other things, the Commissioner’s office is tasked with appraising and assessing property for local taxes, and offers assistance in filing Virginia State Income Tax Returns.

    I have worked for a Real Estate Agent that employeed Esther Nizer and the only thing that I do know about her is that she is was very competent, professional and warm.
