pump tracks at Hillendale

Brent Finnegan -- November 25th, 2007

Here’s another one from the feeds: the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is on a trail care tour across the country. According to their website, “Most Trail Care Crew visits last four days, allowing us to assess local trails, strengthen partnerships with local clubs and land managers, host an evening event at a bike shop or other location, conduct a 1 to 2-day Trailbuilding School (typically on Saturday and Sunday), and squeeze in a ride with the locals.”

IMBA’s crew made a scheduled stop in Harrisonburg in May, but two trail builders came back to Hillendale Park on their “week off” after Thanksgiving, and helped build two pump tracks there.
