I’m hearing that police were also at the Neal residence. Can anyone confirm that?

  2. Yep…a friend drives by their house between his home and office and saw law enforcement on Chestnut Drive at the Neal residence.

Let’s see, the investigation started about 2 months ago…November! Anything else happen in November that could be related?

    I shouldn’t speculate.

  4. Just talked to Becky and Benny. An “anonymous” phone call came into the police department (they can’t say who it is, of course) and said that there was embezzlement going on in the city treasurer’s office. They seized a computer and files and sent everyone home, like the paper says. But then, the police department called Becky back and told her she could come back to work. It is evidentally NOT Becky they are after or she would never have been allowed to come back to the office. I’d like to know who that caller was and if the HPD thought they had enough credibility to cause this kind of havoc.
