The cover story on eightyone this month is about the best places to eat. Taste of Thai, Joshua Wilton House, the Little Grill, Calhou — er, Cally’s, Thomas House in Dayton, Earth & Tea, and the Dodger were among the local winners chosen by readers in a survey.
Dave’s won best fries, worst service. I also thought this was interesting:
Readers from Harrisonburg voted mostly for Harrisonburg restaurants, yet considered Staunton to be the best dining town. Readers from Staunton commented enviously on Harrisonburg’s wide variety of restaurants, especially ethnic ones.
