Rasoul – Richardson debate
Brent Finnegan -- March 15th, 2008
It’s on April Fool’s Day, but the event is real: Sam Rasoul and Drew Richardson — two candidates vying for the Democratic Party nomination to challenge Congressman Bob Goodlatte this November — will debate each other at the Harrisonburg City Council Chamber Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m.

Anyone wishing to submit questions for the candidates should send their question to:
Rockingham County Democratic Committee
Write “Question for Debate” in the subject line.
Coordinators for the event are

Jaime Porter– RCDC
Cheryl Talley — HCDC
The host and moderator will be Martha Woodroof, reporter for WMRA Public Radio.
Sseriously. April fool’s day.
Yeah, so I’ve got a foolish question: Bob Goodlatte campaigned on term limits when he won office in 1992, saying he would serve a maximum of 12 years, why is he still running for the office?
And I’ll ask a dead serious one too:
Has anyone ever heard Congressman Goodlatte explain how we will pay for his $11 Billion/month wars?
Just a reminder about the debate Tuesday.
I hope you can attend!
The debate will also be broadcast on City Span. (Comcast Cable Channel 3)
