Evan Dyson’s blog

Brent Finnegan -- March 28th, 2008

In case you didn’t catch it in the aggregator feed; photographer, JMU senior and editor of The Breeze, Evan Dyson, recently launched a behind-the-scenes news blog. To my knowledge, Evan was the first to cover the fire on North Main yesterday — yet another example of how fast blogs can move information.

Evan may be occasionally contributing or cross-posting news items on hburgnews.com.

Evan’s a first-class student. I’ve worked with him as general manager and an adviser to The Breeze students. He’s a very ambitious student journalist, and has a bright future.

Thanks for checking it out and the nice words. I’ve also linked to a slide show I posted on The Breeze site, so that’s in my post now.

  3. I went to his website. Beautiful work…and yes, I believe he has a bright future in photography. Would love to have him in my organization, but I doubt he’ll stay in Harrisonburg. I could sure keep him busy.
