end of an era

Brent Finnegan -- April 23rd, 2008

I know it’s old news by now, but we’ve written so much about the closed sidewalk and bridge beside Finnigan’s Cove over the years, that it’s only fitting to post something about the reopening of the sidewalk and alleyway.

If I’m not mistaken, last week’s reopening was about one week shy of the two year anniversary of the original closure. It was one of the first stories I ever posted on hburgnews.

It’s nice to be able to walk through there now, but I keep forgetting that its open.

  2. TM says:

I walked it yesterday on my way from the deck to the square. It looks great.
Also, I never mind the posts about the bridge because posts from my brief but fruitful time as a consistent hburgnews contributor are often linked. Hello, old friends…
Now, let’s get Spanky’s II: Electric Bugaloo opened up!
