JMU names new MBA director
On Tuesday, James Madison University announced that Paul E. Bierly has been appointed as the new director of Master of Business Administration programs. Bierly – who holds degrees from Rutgers University, Wharton School, and the University of Pennsylvania – has been employed by JMU for the past 10 years, six of which were spent as the director of the Center for Entrepreneurship.
In a prepared statement, Robert Reid, dean of the College of Business, said that the MBA curriculum may be changed substantially.
Among the possible changes are more flexible class schedules to adjust for working professionals enrolled in the program.
Bierly will begin as MBA director on July 1.
