hburgnews birthday get-together

This little blog is about to turn two, and it’s been over a year since the last time hburgnews readers got together for a meet and greet, so we figured; why not have a get together on the two year anniversary of the beginning of the site?
We’ll be gathering for an informal get-together downstairs at Clementine this Thursday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. for drinks and/or socializing. Readers, commenters, and friends of the blog welcome. It’s a great way for all of us to meet face-to-face.
Come to socialize, stay for Guitar Hero/Rock Band at 8.

Republitarian, there will be a special VIP event running concurrently with the party at Clementine. The VIP event will be held in Staunton and since your reputation precedes you, no passes are necessary.
On a related note, when I read about the unnamed crossbow guy getting taken into custody yesterday, my first thought was, “Where is Dave Briggman?” ;-)
I have class Thursday night but will come whenever I get out (usually around 7 or 7:30).

Myron, you might have this event confused with an event that’s all about you — like a press conference where you announce something really important, or your birthday.
Besides, I think it’s already been established that at any state or local blogger gathering/event, Megan is your VIP pass.

Should have come for rockband after work but I forgot. Oh well, my experience has been that a select 3-4 people play it the whole time without sharing if they are present.

Everyone shared very politely. It was my first foray into the rock band world. It was fun but man I was terrible.
