Lohr on McCain’s energy plan
posted by finneganI caught up with Del. Matt Lohr at a press conference that he and Del. Chris Saxman held today in support of McCain’s energy policy.
The event was part of a statewide campaign by state Republicans to make McCain’s energy policy a major issue for Virginia voters.
I couldn’t help but find the irony in the hybrid car ad on yesterday’s TV3’s story about today’s press conference.

Also feel free to join us on the East lawn of the Court House tonight for National Night Out. Q: Matt Lohr can’t figure out the Commonwealth’s finances, what makes him think he knows that “drilling for oil will lower gas prices”?

Go to 1:25 in the first video. When the jackhammer starts chattering Chris Saxman comes running, asking “is that Lowell Fulk, is that Lowell Fulk”.
No. Lowell Fulk doesn’t need a jackhammer to bust concrete. He looks at the concrete and it melts.

Great interview. The sound effects seemed appropriate. Like funeral bells tolling for the death of fossil fuel based energy policy.
