One received “non-life-threatening lacerations”, and the other has serious injuries including stab wounds and gunshot wounds and was taken to UVA medical center. The police are just beginning the investigation into this crime and have not released any further information.
Anyone with additional information can call Crime Solvers at 574-5050.

not a shooting, “just” a double stabbing.
The HPD sent out a release with “shooting” in the subject line. Then they sent out an “Update regarding the incident that took place this morning in the 600 block of Norwood Street – The original report from ER doctors at UVA Medical Center reported the victim sustained a possible gunshot wound. HPD has just recently been updated by UVA Medical Center that all injuries sustained are stab wounds.”
OK, thanks for correcting that when they sent out the update.
