Harrisonburg Valentine’s Day Scene

Renee -- February 14th, 2009

So, what are you doing for Valentine’s Day? If you’re in a couple, what romantic things are you doing today? Where did you buy flowers and how did they look? Where did you go out to eat and how was it? If you’re single, did you decide to go out and do something fun, too?

  1. Emmy says:

I’ve had a lovely Valentine’s Day with my kids. We had heart shaped pancakes, some red velvet cake (not together) and I gave them each a little present.

I’ve been in a few stores that have flowers out and everything looks terrible. I hope those who purchased flowers found better quality than the ones I saw.

  2. Renee says:

The flowers at Costco looked great and they were $15 for a rose bouquet.

  3. MF says:

hmm weird Iron lion is not playing at the nile tonight

  4. Draegn says:

Why is it that no matter how nice you are to someone, you just end up being used? I stepped way outside my normal boundaries, tried to open up, but only ended up being a convient credit card.

  5. Renee says:

I’m sorry you got treated badly, but don’t think “no matter how nice you are to someone, you just end up being used”. It’s not *always*. I believe everyone has a great match out there somewhere, and unfortunately sometimes you have to go through several rough situations to find the good ones.
