Our Community Place

Thanh -- March 15th, 2009

I hadn’t visited the Our Community Place website in a long time, and was surprised to find a very interesting OCP Newsletter posted on the front page. The 20 page newsletter, from November, highlights many of the activities of OCP and others who they share their building with do, such as:

  • History of OCP – also getting its Certificate of Occupancy in August 2008 and upcoming Grand Opening on May 2, 2009
  • OCP Fundraisers – including the upcoming April 18, 2009 Annual Plant Sale
  • “Our Community Works” a program – “to help folks find work, housing, and sobriety in the midst of a loving and supportive community”
  • On going events and activities
  • Community volunteer and donation opportunities
  • Birth Matters
  • Skyline Literacy Coalition
  • Muddybike Urban Garden Project, and
  • Every Day Bikes

Check out the Newsletter on the Our Community Place website here.
