The Pub Owners Charged

Brent Finnegan -- November 14th, 2009

Last night TV3 reported that criminal charges have been filed against the owners of The Pub.

Charges against the owners of the Pub are going before a Rockingham County grand jury Monday. William Royer and his business partner, Terri Life, face three felony charges of embezzlement, one misdemeanor charge of money laundering and eight misdemeanor charges of failure to pay the Harrisonburg meals tax.

The establishment’s reputation seems to have been tarnished by wave after wave of negative publicity. Is this just another bit of bad press for The Pub, or the coup de grâce?
