Bicycle-Friendly Harrisonburg?

Randy Salzman, writer and member of the Board of Directors of BikeWalk Virginia, wrote a story for Thinking Highways Magazine (pg. 24) that features several Harrisonburg bicyclists, and efforts at the local, state, and federal level that promote bicycling in our communities.

Just how feasible is a bicycle-friendly America? Randy Salzman has high hopes that it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.

    Well, The Mennonites have been riding bikes for a long time….shouldn’t be a problem, if that’s what you want to do.
