BRCC Haiti Group Gets Post Coverage

Jeremy Aldrich -- January 20th, 2010

The Washington Post has an article today about a group of two Blue Ridge Community College students and two college employees who were in Haiti at the time of the earthquake.

The students…held a news conference Tuesday at their school, south of Harrisonburg, to describe how they survived the Haitian earthquake and made it home. As they talked, images of collapsed buildings and bloodied bodies flashed on a screen behind them.

Great job by one of our local papers on this. The News Leader out of Staunton did a live webcast of the press conference.
