Lane Closures at Erickson & 42

The city is warning residents of possible traffic delays and congestion due to construction next week near the intersection of Erickson Ave and 42.

Daily lane closures on Route 42 at the intersection of Erickson Avenue will begin on Monday April 12 for the installation of 30” waterline as part of the ongoing construction project.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane southbound and then one lane northbound as the work progresses through the week. Lanes closures are expected through Friday April 16, weather depending. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the area and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
