Local Police to Step Up Patrols for Drunk or Drugged Drivers April 16-17

Lindsay -- April 14th, 2010

Press release from the Strong Families / Great Youth Coalition of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County, and RMH:

Local Police to Step Up Patrols for Drunk or Drugged Drivers April 16-17

The Strong Families/Great Youth Coalition reminds you that it is against the law to consume alcohol if you are under age 21.

This weekend the Harrisonburg Police Department and the Rockingham County Sherriff’s Office are stepping up all patrols—not just for driving drunk, but for all alcohol- and drug-related offenses.

Consider yourself a leader. Choosing not to drink may positively influence your peers who feel the same way.

The Strong Families/Great Youth Coalition wishes you a safe and fun weekend.

For more information contact Becky Johnston, RMH Community Health, (540) 564-7388.
