DebSF -- August 6th, 2010

We’re trying out a new feature (or restarting an old one) — a sort of open thread to catch some of the stuff we couldn’t cover over the past week.

• Governor McDonnell has named this week Farmers Market Week in Virginia.

• Harrisonburg police and council officials participated Tuesday night in National Night Out,  a nation-wide annual crime and drug prevention program.

• Our Community Place celebrated the 19th annual Shenandoah Valley Bike Fest on July 31.
