HFD: Fire on South Main Accidental

The Harrisonburg Fire Department has determined that the fire at 4060 S. Main Street in the early morning hours Tuesday was caused by an electrical malfunction.

Date of Occurrence: November 9, 2010

Time of Occurrence: 12:20 a.m.

General Location/Address of Occurrence: 4060 South Main Street Harrisonburg

Property Damaged: Business space occupied by Aspen Industries

Injuries Sustained: None

Narrative: Fire Marshals from the Harrisonburg Fire Department have determined that the fire at 4060 South Main Street was accidental in nature. The cause of the fire was attributed to an electrical malfunction in basement ceiling area of the business.
