New Bridges: Winner of Nonprofit Brand Challenge

Press Release -- March 21st, 2011

Press Release from Gravity Group:

Gravity Group, a Harrisonburg-based branding and marketing communications agency, has announced the winner of its 1st Annual Gravity Group Brand Challenge: NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center.

As winner of the challenge, NewBridges will receive a free customized marketing solution by Gravity Group.

Founded in 2000, NewBridges is a resource for refugees, asylees, and immigrants in the Shenandoah Valley. Assisting more than 300 families each year, NewBridges provides individual case management, education, and networking services.

Gravity Group selected NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center based on their clear mission, forward thinking strategic plan, and 10+ year track record of helping the community. Steve Gilman, President of Gravity Group says, “NewBridges is a vital asset to our community, and a perfect example of the kind of organization we want to help with our Brand Challenge.”

“NewBridges IRC is honored and thrilled to collaborate with Gravity Group through the Brand Challenge. We look forward to the ways that this project will bring about new relationships and services. The folks at Gravity Group are absolutely wonderful!”, says Alicia Horst, Executive Director of NewBridges.

The Gravity Group Brand Challenge was developed to help small, local non-profit organizations that serve the community to increase their brand awareness and marketing presence. More information on the Gravity Group Brand Challenge can be found on Facebook and at
