A Black Angus bull escaped from Rockingham Livestock Sales on Dealton Avenue Thursday and ran around Purcell Park and a nearby residential neighborhood. The bull was loose for about an hour and acted aggressively to officers and bystanders, said Public Information officer Mary-Hope Vass of the Harrisonburg Police Department.
